The University of Wyoming Biodiversity Institute provides educational opportunities and support to students and faculty across the univeristy and the state through direct education, broad outreach activities, and graduate student grant opportunities.
The Biodiversity Institute is housed within the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center, a beautiful public building that houses scientific displays, laboratories, and biodiversity experts. Visiting classes have the opportunity to visit behind the scenes and meet with students and faculty involved in many kinds of research—from atoms to ecosystems.

Designed for children from birth to age 12 and their accompanying grownups, the Kids Corner offers an assortment of fun, hands-on activities that are designed to encourage discovery through play. An ideal area for early learners, this educational environment emphasizes the use of real objects with an extensive teaching collection for exploring natural history, life-cycle and biodiversity science topics.
