Job Purpose
Ensure the mission of Biodiversity Institute is fulfilled by providing collaborative research, education, and outreach efforts. Provide leadership, supervision and development for community outreach events and programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualififications
Education: Master’s degree in environmental science, conservation of biodiversity or equivalent
Experience: 4 years work-related experience, including course and outreach delivery
Desired Qualifications
Education: PhD in environmental science, conservation of biodiversity or equivalent
Experience: supervision of employees and development of courses or outreach programs

About the UW Biodiversity Institute
The mission of the Biodiversity Institute is to foster the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of biological diversity by engaging a broad audience in the scientific process. We work with scientists, resource managers, educators, and the public to offer a unique service to Wyoming and beyond by facilitating collaborative research projects, synthesizing, and disseminating research, distributing grants, and providing educational, outreach, and community science programs for students and the public. Located in the UW Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center and part of the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources.
