Report a Salamander Sighting

Did you see a salamander in your yard or while walking around your neighborhood? Let us know where and when by submitting your observation below! We request that you include a ruler in the photo submission so we can digitally measure the salamander.

We are trying to learn more about urban populations of tiger salamanders not just in Laramie, but in all urban areas of Wyoming. Despite often living in our backyards, we don’t know much about these salamanders! What towns are they found in? How far do they migrate? How many can be found in the same yard? Your observations will help us learn more about Wyoming’s urban tiger salamanders so that we can better protect these populations for years to come!
